The times are synced correctly, (not on daylight savings/summertime here down under)ĭaylight not as important as few seconds, which I need to catch then correlate photos It work at least day, sometimes 2 without charge. Turn on, drop to backpack/pocket and forgot about it. On the other side - gadget very simple - it have power switch and button which make "waypoint" on track. I'm carrying my iPhone and my GM1 which is as small as it gets for this format, don't want to be lugging around another gadget. I bought this gaget then got bored to search charger for smartphone on weekend trips to somewhere - smatrphone GPS logger drain battery in 4-6 hours, and at the end of the day I was without phone and GPS data. Thanks for the idea but it's just an extra thing to have to carry around. In all other respects the iPhone App works well - the remote control side of things is excellent, as is browsing and uploading.īUT I really would love to have GPS data on my pics. I am also having similar problems with my new GM1 - message 'Location data was not added to some images' - in fact no location data was added to any images.īut in my case when I check the Operation log there are no signs of data logging taking place, just logging of the start and stop times of the logging app, no 5sec data listed - is this normal? I don't need high accuracy though, and would be content with logging at infrequent intervals. But I really think that GPS tagging is a very good thing. If I can't get this to work smoothly and reliably always, the function is useless to me. Sometimes it works, but mostly I get "Location data was not added to some images".I attempt to add the data via the menu "Location Logging".I tap "Send location data" in Image App.I open the WiFi connection between GM1 and Image App. I open the Image App again to collect some more points. That works fine, the "Operation log" clearly shows that it has data points.
